Pablo Rodriguez & Noelia Hurtado

Noelia Hurtado and Pablo Rodriguez met in the prestigious Club Sunderland in 2003, starting an artistic career together. They have studied with Carlos Perez and Rosa Forte with whom they learnt the basis of famous Villa Urquiza style and also participated in Tango Argentino style Academy.

Noelia and Pablo studied intensively with important milonga maestros, firstly learning the the style and form of tango as a popular dance, then bringing in newer techniques thus merging the traditional essence of the dance with modern tango. They combine the attributes of Villa Urquiza tango and milonga with new elements and techniques of contemporary tango. This couple builds an elegant style with the strength of traditional tango, great musicality and movement dynamic.

In 2006 they were selected as Metropolitan Champions of Tango Salon of Buenos Aires and Metropolitan Sub-Champions of Milonga. During this period, they performed exhibitions in the most prestigious milongas of Buenos Aires.

Noelia and Pablo have toured many European countries with great success, performing in numerous exhibitions and workshops: Great Britain, Italy, Switzerland, Turkey, Holland,. They were maestros of International tango festivals such as Istambul, Moscow, Brussels (2008), Basel, Lisbon, Antalya (2009).
